OUR JOURNEY
From a spark of an idea to a blazing movement
The Spark
Fire Instenk was born from a simple idea: what if we could make live events feel as immersive as virtual reality, but with real human connection? Our first event drew 500 people to a warehouse in Brixton, South London.
Virtual Pivot
When the world shut down, we didn't stop. We pioneered virtual Caribbean music experiences with interactive elements, keeping the community connected through screens while planning our triumphant return.
The Comeback
Our first post-pandemic event 'Ignition' sold out in 48 hours with 2,000 attendees at Brixton Electric. We introduced LED wristbands that synchronized with the music, creating a unified light show across the entire crowd.
Tech Integration
Launched our AR Experience App, allowing attendees to unlock exclusive content, interact with holographic performers, and capture unique digital memories. Featured in TechCrunch as 'The Future of Live Events.'
Brixton Takeover
Established Brixton as our home base with regular events at Brixton Electric, Brixton Jamm, and O2 Academy Brixton. Hosted over 25 events with a combined attendance of 50,000+ people. Won 'Best Live Experience' at the Caribbean Music Awards.
Innovation Leadership
Introduced holographic stage effects and AI-powered visual systems that respond to crowd energy in real-time. Launched Fire Instenk Academy to train the next generation of event tech specialists in South London.
Global Vision
Planning our first international tour with stops in Kingston, Port of Spain, and New York. Developing proprietary event technology platform to license to other promoters worldwide. The fire spreads globally from Brixton.

Born and raised with Caribbean roots, Cham built Fire Instenk from the ground up — driven by a passion for music, culture, and creating spaces where people truly feel alive. From humble beginnings organising local events to headlining stages across South London, his journey is one of grit, creativity, and an unshakeable belief that Caribbean culture deserves a world-class platform.
